Fees are based on a sliding scale, and are based on your total household income and/or the income of your family. I truly feel that everyone can benefit from therapy. Emotional health is every bit as important as physical health, therefore I will make every effort to not let fees get in the way of therapy. I am happy to talk with you about fees during a phone consultation.
Services may be covered in full or in part by your health insurance or employee benefit plan. Please check your coverage carefully by asking the following questions:
- Do I have mental health insurance benefits?
- What is my deductible and has it been met?
- How many sessions per year does my health insurance cover?
- What is the coverage amount per therapy session?
- Is approval required from my primary care physician?
I will provide you with a Super Bill that you can submit to your insurance carrier and they will reimburse you. To keep costs down for clients, I do not directly bill insurance companies.
Cash, check and all major credit cards (except AMEX - sorry) accepted for payment.
Unlike most doctors offices, I do not over book clients. All appointment times are fully dedicated to my clients. If you do not show up for your scheduled therapy appointment, and you have not notified me at least 24 hours in advance, you will be required to pay the full cost of the session.
